Terms & Conditions




Thank you for booking with us; we make your holidays more memorable. Below is important information about your booking to make sure your trip runs as smoothly as possible so that you can enjoy it to the full! By making a booking, the first named person in the booking list agrees on behalf of all persons that:-

  • He/she has read these terms and conditions and has the authority to and does agree to be bound by them; 
  • He/she consents to our use of information in accordance with our Privacy & Data Protection Policy; 
  • He/she is over 21 years of age, a resident of Kuwait and is placing an order for services with age restrictions declares that he/she and all members of the party are of the appropriate age to purchase those services.
BROCHURE / EMAIL / ANY PUBLICATIONS / DOCUMENTATIONS

All information given in the brochure/email or by any other document about the itinerary is based on the information available at the time of publication. Al Rashed International Holidays reserves the full rights to change any information contained in the same before or after booking due to reasons beyond our control.

PROMOTIONS / OFFERS/DEALS

Please note that in case of special offers, promotions or schemes additional terms and conditions of those offers, promotions or schemes will be applicable. We shall have the absolute right to withdraw any scheme or discount at any time after such scheme or discount is published.

PRICE /COSTS

We ensure that all the information and prices on our website/email/any documentation and in our brochures are accurate and we reserve full right to amend/cancel the price of unsold service at any time and correct errors in the prices of confirmed holidays. The price of your confirmed holiday is subject at all times to changes in accommodation, transport costs such as fuel, scheduled airfares and any other airline cost changes which are part of our contracts with airlines (and their agents), cruise ship, cost changes arising from government action such as changes in VAT or any other government imposed changes; and to changes in currency exchange rates, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports and airports any or all of which may result in a variation of your price. All the prices/costs are subject to change anytime, without any prior notice.

ALL BOOKINGS

We advise you to discuss your choice of destination, accommodation and transportation, cruises or any other services provided by us with our staff to make sure it is suitable for you. Later any dispute regarding the same will be nullified by us.

YOUR BOOKING

The person who completes the booking with us is the ‘lead name’. He or she must be over the required age limit demanded by the service providers such as Hotels, Apartments, Cruises, Car Rental Companies or any other services we provide and is responsible for payment of the total booking price, including any other services and subsequent cancellation or amendment charges that may be payable. He or she also agrees to provide accurate and full information to the travelling party in relation to the bookings, including any changes thereto and confirms that all the other members of the party, including any that may be added at a later date, agree to be bound by these conditions, and all other information in the relevant brochure/email or any other documentation and on our websites (if applicable).If you are making the booking on behalf of a minor, under the required age limit, who is not traveling with a person above required age limit or over or required minimum age , we will only allow the minor to travel on the following terms: The parent/legal guardian must be present when the booking is made; the booking is subject to the minor satisfying our suppliers conditions of travel (minimum age restrictions do apply and vary by airline/Hotel/Cruise or any other services providers etc.); If any such booking which is not notify us before the travel will be subject to denial of service or cancelation by service provider which we may not be responsible. Al Rashed International Holidays act as an agent between the client and the Hotel/Cruise/Apartment or any other service provider and would under no circumstances be held responsible for inadequate service provide by them.

SINGLE / DOUBLE / TWIN, TRIPLE / QUAD ACCOMMODATIONS

A single room is for one person and contains a single bed or twin beds with King/Queen Beds in one room which can change according to the service provider. In some cases single supplement changes are applicable if travel alone as the hotel/cruise/apartments etc. are charging per person in room basis and few cases single room rates are also available which we will advise you on case to case basis. A Double/Twin room has either a single queen-size bed or two separate beds. If the client requests for a room with queen-size bed or twin bed or another preference we will pass to the concerned hotel/apartment/cruise/service providers, the same would be provided subject to availability but we cannot guarantee the same. Triple accommodation hotels /apartments/ Cruise accommodations only allow three people in one room. Triple rooms are usually no larger than twin rooms and the third bed is often a rollaway bed or cot placed or sofa bed in a twin/double room. Quad accommodation hotels /apartments/ Cruise accommodations only allow FOUR people in one room. Requests for rollaway beds, Extra bed may result in additional charges payable directly to the service provider. Such rooms normally comprise a standard twin/double room with additional sofa/put-up beds being added for third and fourth occupants. This arrangement may restrict space.

CHILDREN ACCOMMODATION

Some hotels/cruises/apartments etc. have a policy of limited occupancy for children in rooms. In these cases you may be advice to take an extra room to accommodate all. These rooms can be adjacent or nearby or interconnecting or a different floors etc., which are subject to the availability at the time of check in. Not notifying us the accurate information regarding number of children, ages, etc. with us before the booking may subject to denial of service and which we will not be responsible and will nullify any refund request for the same. A child travelling with parents and whom charge has not been paid for extra bed/rollaway bed would not be entitled to get a separate bed in the hotel/cruise/apartment etc. In case ‘with bed’ charge has been paid for the child and you decide not to avail such facility later, you would not be entitled to get any refund. In case you decide to add an extra bed for the child booked on ‘without bed’ basis later, this will be provided subject to availability and to pay any additional amount charged by the concerned hotel/cruise/apartment etc. directly. Extra bed means it will be a separate bed or rollaway bed or sofa bed will provide at night. This arrangement may restrict space.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUTS

Check in and checkout times may vary by location and hotel/apartment/cruise to hotel/apartment/cruise. Generally, the check-in time in Hotel/Apartments are 14:00 noon and check-out by 12:00 a.m. However, in case the room is required in Hotel /Apartment on immediate occupancy/late checkout, kindly inform us to assist on the same at an additional cost or to put a request which will be subject to the availability and we do not guarantee the same as its purely depends on the supplier discretion. Please inform the hotel, apartment, or any other service provider directly prior to your arrival to make any necessary arrangements if there are any changes in time changes after the confirmation. Contact numbers can be found on your confirmation email or on the voucher.

SEAT IN COACH (SIC) / PRIVET CAR (TOURS/TRANSFERS)

Seat In Coach/SIC, means you will share an air-conditioned/non air-conditioned coach or van with other tourists and you will have (may be not) an English-speaking tour guide to take you to all the scenic spots listed in the Itinerary or transfers or tours that day. Private tours/transfers are taken by one or more passengers (all in the same party) on the date of their choice. We generally engage air-conditioned /non-air conditioned luxury coaches/cars, but we are not responsible if the air-conditioning equipment malfunctions for any reason. Normally, the air conditioning will not function during hill drives for coaches and cars. On group tours, you may allot a seat numbers or may follow seat rotation. You must follow the instructions of the tour manager/guide/driver in this regard. The coach/car drivers are bound by restrictions concerning maximum driving hours per day and the Itineraries are planned with regard to the same. It is therefore essential that the Itineraries, schedules and timings are strictly adhered to by you so as to ensure that all the services can be duly provided. If you or any of your co-passengers miss any service due to unpunctuality, we shall not be liable to refund any amount. Further, we shall not be liable to refund any amount or pay any compensation for any change in itinerary or for missing any service due to the unpunctuality or actions of your co-passengers or for any delays due to any reasons. Please note that smoking, consumption of alcoholic beverages and snacks is strictly prohibited on coaches / cars. Please keep the coach / cars clean to avoid discomfort to yourself and other tour participants. Please take care not to leave behind any property in the coach / car while disembarking. The Company would not be responsible or liable in case of loss of such property under any circumstances.

BAGGAGE ON COACH, AIRLINE AND PORTERAGE

We always advise to carry the minimum luggage/bags while on travel. If you carry more than the permitted luggage weight then, in such case the guest may have to pay extra charges for luggage to the airline directly and the company shall not be liable in this regard. You are requested to please refer to the baggage rules of the individual airlines, cruises as the same gets updated from time to time. Also, we are not liable for any loss or damage to baggage while it is in the custody of the airline/hotel/apartment /cruise/ car/ coach train etc. Airline/ hotel/ apartment/ cruise/car/coach/ train etc., Please note that porterage is not included in the price. It is often difficult to get porters to assist as hotels/ apartment/cruises may or may not provide this service and it is therefore advisable to use bags with wheels. Coaches/cars have limited space for luggage. Hence we advise to carry comfortable minimum luggage/bags as per rule of airline/ cruise etc.

MEALS

If included, specified in voucher, are based on table menus or buffet or pre-set or a meal voucher system, unless specified otherwise in the text. The meal has to be consumed when served. If the client misses meals due to him/her catching a flight or any other reason, no claim for the same shall be entertained. We would take all the necessary steps to ensure if you have any special requests, however, in the event that such special requests are not honored, we would not be liable for any claim in this regard by the client. Extra cost, if any, for special meals have to be borne by the client.

AIRLINES

We shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to you or any person travelling with you, for loss of baggage by the airline, failure to provide meal of your choice by the airline, denied boarding or down-gradation due to overbooking or any other reason, failure on the part of the airline to accommodate you despite having confirmed tickets, quality or quantity of meals offered by the airlines, flight delay or rescheduling, flight cancellation, changes of flight schedule or routing, change of airline mentioned at the time of booking. In these circumstances, we will not be liable for the injury, loss or inconvenience suffered by you but you will be free to pursue your remedies against the concerned airline. If delays occur which you should inform service provider/us accordingly to make sure of the services as many of the hotels/apartments/ cruises etc cancel the services reservation after a time of check in. If you fail to notify us may result the cancelation by the service providers which we are not responsible.

TIPPING

Tipping is customary (unless otherwise stated in the brochure/Leaflet/email etc) in all parts of the world for services rendered (e.g. Porters, coach drivers, tour leaders, guides etc).

SECURITY DEPOSIT

Many hotel/apartment/cruises request that you leave a deposit, either in cash or with a credit card, to cover incidental charges to your room. The policy ensures that if a customer leaves without paying for room service, phone calls, paid movies/channels or mini-bar items, the hotel will be covered, at least in part. We advise you all to carry sufficient amount/credit card to meet this requirement.

DIFFERENTLY ABLED & MEDICAL ISSUES

We are not a specialist holiday company for differently abled, but we will do our utmost to cater for any special requirements you may have. If you or any members of your party have any medical problem or disability which may affect your stay, please provide us with full details before we confirm your booking so that we can try to advise you as to the suitability of your chosen arrangements. We may require you to produce a doctor’s certificate certifying that you are fit to participate in the tour.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

If you have a special request for anything like Interconnecting Rooms/Adjacent Rooms/Early Check in / Late Checkout/ Smoking/ Non Smoking Rooms / Higher/Lower Floors/Disabled Room Any Special views, Meals etc. that is not automatically part of the travel arrangements you book through us, please advise us when you book and we will pass this information on to the companies/suppliers/hotel/cruises/suppliers etc. we work with. Our note of your request on your vouchers confirms we have received it and does not guarantee that we, or the relevant supplier, can guarantee your request. Where possible will try our level best to help you, but we cannot guarantee any request unless it is noted on your voucher and we also confirm the request separately in writing in voucher. We must emphasize that verbal confirmations of special requests cannot be taken as a guarantee that they will be met. Special Requests are always subject to availability. If you seek a change in rooming while on a tour, the same will be subject to availability and you will need to pay any additional charges as may be applicable. We would take all the necessary steps to ensure if you have any special requests, however, in the event that such special requests are not honored, we would not be liable for any claim in this regard by the client.

CHANGES BY YOU MAKE BEFORE TRAVEL

If you want to make changes in the arrangements you have booked in any way, we will try to help you and we will try our level best to make the necessary arrangements according to your preference, although we cannot guarantee that we will always be able to do this as changes are subject to availability at the time and cancelation/amendment charges are applicable. Please note that changes to flight tickets, Entrance Tickets, Cruises, ferry and train tickets, hotels/apartments etc. are very restrictive. Any booking discount you may have received at the time the original booking was made may be altered or reduced whenever changes are made. If you have paid supplements for accommodation and the number of people in your accommodation changes, you may have to pay extra and may lose any free or reduced costs. And remember any change to your departure date, airport, transport, destination, accommodation, or length of holiday is applicable to all members of your booking. Certain arrangements may not be amended after they have been confirmed and any alteration could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements.

IF YOU CANCEL/AMEND

If you or any other member of your party decides to cancel/amend your confirmed booking you must notify us in writing. Certain arrangements may not be cancelled/ amended after they have been confirmed and any cancelation/amendment could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements. There shall be no refund or compensation whatsoever for unutilized services. This general rule applies to all kinds of non-utilization or under-utilization of any services, whether of the whole or part and whether as a matter of your choice, or caused by your fault or compelled by circumstances such as ill-health, weather, external factors etc.In case a client along with his family is compelled to discontinue the tour due to any reason whatsoever including illness, death or loss of passport or any travel documents, no claim shall be entertained for refund of unutilized services. Even if a client is unable to reach the place of commencement of the tour due to any reason whatsoever including loss of baggage or loss of travel documents, his booking shall be treated as "no show" on the tour and 100% cancellation charges will be levied.

CUTTING SHORT YOUR HOLIDAYS

We always advise you to utilize all the services booked as cancelation/amendment or non-utilization of the same will be considered as nonrefundable/non-amendable. Based on the case we will try our level best to help you but we will not guarantee the same at any time. If you cut short your holidays and returned early in any circumstances, we will not offer you any refund for that part of your holiday not completed, or be liable for any associated costs you may incur. If you are offered refund for any service not utilized/canceled by the service providers like hotel, cruises, apartments, tours operators etc and would like to process the refund through us then we require sufficient proof for the refund offered to process.

CHANGES MADE BY US BEFORE TRAVEL

Very occasionally, in unavoidable circumstances we may advise you to make changes in your holiday arrangements for the convenience of clients and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you at the earliest opportunity. From time to time we may have to change details of the package you have booked. If any change will have a significant effect on your package, we will tell you about it before you travel, if there is time. Changes we will tell you about include: If you do not wish to take the alternative we offer you, you can choose a different package offered for sale by us and pay, or receive a refund of, any price difference. Or, if you prefer, you can cancel your Package and receive a full refund of money you have paid to us, except for any amendment charges.

CANCELLATION BY US

On very rare occasions, we may need to cancel or change your package/service you booked with us due to any unforeseen reasons. We will not cancel your Package/or Services except if we are forced to do so because of unusual circumstances where we could not have foreseen, where we could not avoid the results of those circumstances even after taking all reasonable care. We reserve full right to cancel your Package/any services you booked with us. If we have to cancel/amend a package or any service you booked with us for any particular reason, we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible. In these circumstances, if possible, offer you an alternative Package/service of equivalent or closely similar standard and price at no extra cost, or a less expensive Package/Service, in which case we will refund the difference in price or with extra cost. If you do not wish to take the alternative we offer you, you can choose another offered for sale by us and pay, or receive a full refund of, any price difference Or, if you prefer, you can receive a full refund of money you have paid to us, except for any amendment charges. However, in the event of the Company exercising its rights to amend or alter any of its service advertised in their Brochure/ Itinerary/ website/ leaflets after it has been booked but prior to departure, you shall have the option to continue with the services as amended or altered or to accept any alternative service, which the Company may offer. In either of these above cases the Company shall not be liable to you for any damage, additional expenses, consequential loss /damage etc suffered by you or to pay any amount as refund.

CHANGES MADE AFTER TRAVEL

If, after your departure, a significant part of your pre-booked holiday arrangements or any services cannot be provided as mentioned in the voucher, you will be offered suitable alternative options. If it is not possible to offer you a suitable alternative or, for good reasons, you do not accept the alternative arrangements, you will have the right to cancel your particular service booking and right to refund the amount paid by you to us.

FORCE MAJEURE

If the tour or any part services cannot be conducted due to Force Majeure,the company shall not be responsible/liable to offer any refund to you. There shall be no refund whatsoever if the client does not or cannot utilize any of the services like hotels, sightseeing, rides, cruises, meals, entrance fees, optional tours etc. due to any reason whatsoever. We shall not be responsible and / or liable for any damages caused to you due to reasons beyond the control of the Company (Force Majeure / Vis Majeure). Any overstay expenses due to delay or changes in bus / flights / ships / trains or cancellation of special bogie or other services due to sickness, weather conditions, war, threat of war, strikes, rebellions, disturbances, unrest, curfew or any other cause whatsoever, shall be borne entirely by you and we shall not be liable for the same. We are not liable for any acts, omissions or defaults of other tour participants which may result in injury, damage to your life / or property or interfere with enjoying any services to be provided on the tour.

PLEASE CHECK CAREFULLY WHAT THE COST INCLUDES AND EXCLUDESEURE

All services to be provided to you will be as per those specified / confirmed and paid for as per the final email /Invoices/vouchers. If you avail any additional service such as special view rooms, meals, excess baggage charge, a la carte meals etc, or anything that is not specifically shown as included in the Tour Cost/in Vouchers, then the payment for the same will have to be cleared by you to the concerned service provider.

INSURANCE

You must take out adequate travel insurance suitable for your needs before you travel. We cannot be responsible for any costs you incur as a result of you failing to do so.

PAYMENTS

If you fail to make the payment by the due date and / or do not comply with all the terms and conditions of the offer, you will not be entitled to receive the benefit under such offer, under any circumstances. Failure of making the payment before time limit may result the cancelation of reservation without any prior notification. We will be entitled to retain custody of your documents or properties entrusted to us till we receive payment of all amounts that are due to us in relation to your booking / travel.

PASSPORTS, VISAS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

Passport and visa requirements vary depending on your destination. We recommend that you contact the relevant consulate/Embassy to check any restrictions that may apply. Requirements do change and you must check the up to date position in good time before departure. Most countries now require passports to be valid for at least 6 months after your return date. If your passport is in its final year, you should check with the Embassy of the country you are visiting. If you fail to take the necessary steps, Al Rashed International Holidays has no liability to you and you will have to pay any costs which Al Rashed International Holidays Tours incurs through helping you because of such failure on your part.
While applying visa on your behalf, we acts as a facilitator for visa processing and is not responsible for scrutinizing the visa before submitting it to the visa authority. The discretion to grant/reject the visa rests solely with the concerned authority/embassy and we Al Rashed International Holidays will in no way be held responsible in case the visa is refused by the concerned authorities for whatever reason(s). Al Rashed International Holidays shall in no way be held liable for any delay in response from the visa authority about visa acceptance or rejection by the authorities. The Client acknowledges that the Company is merely a facilitator for providing visa guidance services.
Al Rashed International Holidays shall make best efforts for timely delivery of the passport/visa to the client before the date of departure of the holidays. However, Al Rashed International Holidays shall not be liable for any delays or loss of passport for reasons beyond its control as Al Rashed International Holidays relies on third party vendors for such services. In the event of any cancellation of tour due to delay in delivery of the passport or rejection of visa, Al Rashed International Holidays shall be entitled to recover cancellation charges from the client as per the term herein.
Further, Al Rashed International Holidays is not liable to you for any illness or discomfort you suffer through failure to have required vaccinations or to follow medical advice. Please note that your health is entirely your risk and responsibility. Our tours are suitable for persons of reasonable fitness. They may not suit persons who are medically infirm or who have special needs or requirements whether due to age, medical conditions or otherwise. It shall be your duty to inform us in case you have any medical condition that may affect your ability to fully enjoy our tour arrangements or where the interests of other tour participants may be adversely affected by such condition We reserve the right (without obligation) to ask you to undergo medical tests and to provide written certification of your medical fitness before departure or at any time during the tour and if you fail to undergo such tests or fail to provide such certificates, we may decline to accept you or to continue you on the tour. Our actions in this regard may be guided not only by concerns for your health but also the convenience and health of the other tour participants. It is not our obligation to check your medical condition and if you suffer any injury or aggravation on the tour or if you are unable to enjoy / complete the whole or any part of the tour due to your medical conditions, we shall not be liable to compensate you nor to refund any amount to you nor to pay your medical expenses. In this regard, please note that service providers such as airlines may decline to accept you on medical grounds. Please carefully read and understand the rules and regulations of the service providers, because we shall not be responsible for the consequences that you may suffer. Some countries required the medical certificates for vaccination/medical fitness to enter the country which should be obtained by the client and Al Rashed International Holidays would not be responsible failure to present the same and which leads the rejection of entry.

DEALING WITH COMPLAINTS

Al Rashed International Holidays will make every effort to make your holiday as enjoyable and trouble free as possible. Most problems can be sorted out straight away if we know about them.
If you have a complaint, you must advise our representatives straight away and the supplier of the service(s) in question. Any verbal notification must be confirmed in writing at the earliest. You may also contact us directly using the emergency telephone number enclosed with your travel documents or office contacts.

BEHAVIOUR

You must not behave in a way which may cause distress or annoyance to others. If in our opinion, any airline personnel, accommodations manager or other person in authority, you are behaving in such a way as to cause danger, distress or annoyance to others or damage to property, your holiday arrangements may be terminated by us or the supplier concerned. In this situation, our liability to you and/or your party will cease and you and/or your party will be required to leave your accommodation or other service immediately. We will not be responsible for making any refunds, paying any compensation or meeting any costs or expenses you incur as a result. You and/or your party may also be required to pay for the loss and/or damage caused by your actions and we will hold you and each member of your party jointly and individually liable for any damage or losses caused by you or any member of your party. Full payment for any such damage or losses must be paid directly to the hotel manager or other supplier prior to your departure from the hotel/apartment/cruise/any other service. If you fail to make the payment, you will be responsible for meeting any claims (including legal costs) subsequently made against us as a result of your actions together with all costs we incur in pursuing any claim against you. We cannot be held responsible for the actions or behavior of other guests or individuals who have no connection with your booking arrangements or with us.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR HOLIDAY

We will accept responsibility for the arrangements we agree to provide or arrange for you as an “organizer” under the Al Rashed International Holidays and Package Subject to these booking conditions. We will not be responsible or pay you compensation for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, cost or other claim of any description. -Unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond ours or our supplier(s) control, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised; or - an event which either ourselves, our employees, agents or suppliers and subcontractors could not, even with all due care, have foreseen or forestalled. Further, please note that in any case, our liability arising from this contract shall not exceed the total amount paid for the tour holiday. Further, under no circumstances shall we have any liability in respect of any indirect, special or consequential losses / damages whatsoever. As earlier stated, any loss or damage to your baggage will be borne entirely by you and we shall not be liable for the same in any manner. You may recover such damages by purchasing an appropriate insurance policy. We shall not be responsible and / or liable for any damages caused to you due to reasons beyond the control of the Company. Any overstay expenses due to delay or changes in bus / flights / ships / trains or cancellation of special bogie or other services due to sickness, weather conditions, war, threat of war, strikes, rebellions, disturbances, or any other cause whatsoever, shall be borne entirely by you and we shall not be liable for the same.

CONDITIONS OF SUPPLIERS

Many of the services which make up your holiday are provided by independent suppliers. These suppliers provide these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions which will form part of your contract with us. Subject to the other terms of these conditions, we will not be liable for any costs, fees or charges you incur in any circumstances, if you fail to obtain our prior authorization before making your own travel arrangements.

CONDITIONS OF SUPPLIERS

Many of the services which make up your holiday are provided by independent suppliers. These suppliers provide these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions which will form part of your contract with us. Subject to the other terms of these conditions, we will not be liable for any costs, fees or charges you incur in any circumstances, if you fail to obtain our prior authorization before making your own travel arrangements.

VOUCHER(S) / TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

A Service Voucher(s) is the written confirmation of your confirmed services and entitles you to travel on the tour and must be presented by you to the Service Provider as applicable. You will receive the Voucher prior to departure. No services will be provided if the Service Voucher in original is not in your possession. Important /emergency contact numbers are printed on the service voucher(s) and /or the briefing sheet provided to you. It is your/yours responsibility to check the Service Voucher(s) carefully and to let the concerned staff at the company’s offices immediately in the event of any error. In some cases, the Client would be handed his internal flight / train /hotel vouchers by the Tour Manager / representative of the Company on arrival at his / her holiday destination. It is entirely your responsibility to hold and carry on tour valid travel documents such as permits, confirmed air / bus / train / visas, cruise tickets and other documents confirming insurance to cover risk to life, medical clearances, vaccination certificates such as permits, visas, etc
